I'm the one that asked you about your setup on Sunday. Asked if you were setting it up to be a little looser in the back on purpose because you liked it, or if you were having trouble with the car. Ran the white body, MI2 of course.

I find the outer hole to give the most initial steering for tight tracks..but I run the middle position, gives good mid corner feel. most drivers are currently using the middle poisitions on the bellcranks, I am currently running a centre link length of 38mm from end to end, and am using a spool.

my car has tons of initial steering, very aggressive.

to get the most out of the spool, try running lighter front oil (5-10 wt lighter than rear), softish front springs, and fairly low droop...1-2mm

having said all that, im not sure many are running spools on carpet...most opt for a differential.

take a look on www.gearchart.com for what Mo and I have run on carpet. I ran a spool on carpet and the car was dialed. I'm sure that I posted the set up I ran the last time out on the rug.

There was a new 19T motor that i got a glimpse of over the weekend but i'm not sure who made it. The can was green but thats all that i saw. Anyone aware of a new 19T green motor hitting the streets latley? Any thoughts on that motor in comparison to the reedy quad? Supposedly everyone has been talking bout it however i didnt get the chance to ask around.

Its probably the Peak Dynasty.

Is this it?

If it is the motor is very fast. From what I hear you have to gear it to the moon like the Reedy.

Ah haaa! I'm going to have to research this motor now. I'm always looking for more horses especially now that my car is drivable. I have a few things i can do with my car to drop seconds but a more powerful motor is always appreciated.

If any of you guys see any test results for this motor please let me know.

R

PS. Any of you guys planning on going out to the coast or speedline this weekend?

None, I want to reduce camber change.

The car is really good at my locak track. Really good turn in and rear rotation. It is a bit loose on power exiting but this weekend I might lean in the rear shocks or add some anti squat.

add some anti-squat?? wouldnt you reduce anti squat to keep the rear more planted coming out of the corner on power?
