My issue is that the car is loose off power (coming out of the corner as i hit the throttle). I've tried just about everything to get the rear planted and even have a wopping 4 degrees of camber on the rear end. Now the car is driveable but i want the rear to stay flat out of the corners like my MI2 ;-). One thing i was thinking about is raising the roll center in the front with a couple of 1 mil shims but that would mean that the stearing block that the lower hing pin plugs into would be raised, which would then mean that the servo arm by the spring would be raised which means that my top deck would be out of lined because of the already tightened spring. How can i go about raising the roll center without screwing everything up?
I'll post my setup tomorrow.

Our 1.2mm (Silver) bars are so thin that they do nothing when you cycle the suspension on the bench. However, you can certainly fee a difference on the track with and without the bars. The effect of the sway bars have a lot to do with spring rate and damping. If you are too stiff, bars will have less of a perceived effect.
What surface do you run on? Asphalt or Carpet, Rubber or Foam?

At the moment im running on carpet using a stock motor, with schumacher carpet dragons and 24mm revlite wheels, i pretty much have a great set up, (geting into the A finals at the moment) but i want to make full use of the bars, but i dnt seem to be feeling any effect. im using the Kit yellow bars if that helps.
cheers

I generally use 1.5mm bars indoors with carpet dragons.

Hey King-G,
Thanks for the suggestions. I didnt realize that would be able to get the mi2 servo harware to work with mission. I'm going to try that as i'm lery about moding and screwing up my car. I considered using the lower arm position on the front but that would leave such a difference in setup between the front and the back that i was scared of creating a hole new problem. what you came up with is just what i was looking for, a way to shim the arms rather than changing uper arm position.
I'll try what you said and get back.
Thanks again,
R.

Jkerr, you need to get the bar retainers in purple!...I got some Purple ones from Square when I was in Japan last year...
very nice, and work well when using thinner bars...the other trick is to angle the plastic bar mounts inwards or outwards, to the mount kinda pinches the bar stopping it moving up and down in teh mount...

There is a bar mount out there that is made from alloy with a grub screw in it to nip up onto the bar.
Jonas A had some when he came over for the UK Reedy race. I asked him about them. He thought (but wasn't totally sure) they were made by Square, origionally for the HPI Pro3. I had a look on their site and couldn't find them and haven't ever seen them anywhere else.
