Gary, you should be ok with RW ones as they are very thin in the centre. make sure you use the inner holes rather than the outer, but still shouldn't be a problem. Kimbrough ones aren't recomended as they are thicker.

I use Robinson gears with no problems.

The obvious way round it is to countersink the spur and use c/s screws, but you shouldn't need to.

i run a one way myself in my mi2 and have been meaning to try out a spool. but since i run at a relativley tight track (outdoor asphalt) with a number of hairpins, i have been apprehensive to try one out for fear of having to work at getting more off power steering (turn-in).

you mentioned having to "do things to make the car have more aggressive sterring" when running a spool. what exactly are the things you would do? just so i know where to start. ... does the thinner dampening (30 wt) help?

any inputs would be great. i'll be running mod at a big race soon and i'll need all the help i can get. hehehe thanks in advance.

All Florida Race Series and then some !.. Dates for 2004

If you're into nitro as well, Full Throttle Speedway is having their "turkey shoot" this weekend.. or go spectate.. they usually have a real big crowd out there.

On a side note: I've got a schuey now!

That is not normal at all. Did you place the order on line or call them to place it? I'd call PW or Adrian Monday and check status on the order. Either there was a backorder for your parts or UPS may have had a problem.
