Default Setup

Thanks Raul,

We're trying our Mi2-FW06 tomorrow, as usual after looking at the instruction manual i found that I've installed many things backward!?! The Dirt Trix site is down but when it goes back up there will be pics.
This car is very rigid even compared to the old FW-04 because of the new Mi2 bulkheads and layshaft mounts. I've also used a solid 2mm upper deck instead of the experimental foam core deck on the FW-04.

Jon we are waiting for more stickers to come in. We will send them out as soon as they get to us. Nice job on the mounting and triming. you do get plenty of practice with all the different cars you own.

Somthings can be backwards without a problem. Good luck tommorrow. I have my carpet state champs on this weekend. I raced last night, the car was awesome. Have fun and let me know.

A few different tracks. Mainly S&N's Trackside in Milwaukee, but also at Road Rage Hobby Speedway in Green Bay and planning on running at The Den in Monroe this winter as well

4:00 tomorrow morning. I figured with the traffic through SD on 15 n combined with traffic heading to Vegas it'd take me over 4 hours tonight. So I'd rather leave early in the morning and only have a 2 1/2 hour drive.

Yeah we're sharing a hotel. I think he was getting there this morning to get a full day of practice in. I was going to drive up tonight but I'd rather have the shorter drive early and get a good night's sleep in my own bed than a long drive tonight plus a crappy night in a hotel.

Good Luck to everyone for this weekends racing.

I am trying to start indoor on carpet this weekend work permitting.

Can anyone tell me a good Spur/Pinion starting point for the Mi2 20th pully for the following:

- P2K Stock Motor
- Trinity 19T Motor

Thanks

Also wondering (since I finally have time to mount these)

When I cut off 2mm on the shaft and ball cup, do I do this for the front and rear shocks?

On the front end, once I remove the front riser plate and make a brace, do I simply use longer front screws and then small locking nuts?

My brother knows how to machine parts so he is making an aluminum front brace. Hopefully that will work
