Randy- I've got a place in San Marcos that sells .020" in a 2x4 sheet for $12. Let me know if you want me to pick it up.

Id kinda like to see if we can find carbon fiber in those thicknesses, that would be the way to go if we can find the stuff...

DA Graphite is the place to get it, unfortunately the owner is the most annoying person in California, so I'm kinda looking other places.

Also I was thinking about the droop screws. With Lexan,it would be no time before they dig into lexan and the droop would be ever so slightly off after a bit of running.Hummmmmmm.

The droop screws don't have to hit the lexan

Try Kinetic Composites www.kcinc.com in Oceanside, CA. That's were most R/C mfgrs get their carbon. They sell all thicknesses.

Just keep in mind that calibrated washers are easier to put in and take out than riser plates. Its hard to get riser plates past the diff housings on an assembled car.

I think the graphite pieces would be sweet, just make them so you have one per side (not connected)

just get the take off spacer and call it a day....LOL Dujuan and I have offically decided not to run foam at all this season so let's have some killer battles in 19 turn this year. Hopefully we can keep people from cheating in this class I can't make it for the first race but I will be ready for the 2nd Saturday race. Were you able to send out the module yet? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Lynn. You know when a subject isn't that photogenic to begin with, all the work and credit goes to the cameraman LOL. I was glad they used that pic actually. Paul deserved the attention and the coverage, especially with how well he ran that weekend. I still can't believe how deep you drove into that 1st turn in A2 to take the lead man.
