Nevad, the R12 was rockin' and I had a little over a 1/2 lap lead at the 10 min mark of the 15 min main and then my rear belt snapped. DOH! Oh well, I'll be back in action for next week at Modesto.

Tuil, I did run the brushless today and I will take a few pics to post here before I swap out the brushless for a standard motor. Car was faaaaaaaaast

xxxkat...we tried to tell you, lol. The race I went to today we race a 5-main "Reedy Race" Format, and I think most people would agree that the 2 fastest cars were 2 Mi2's...Team Driver Nick Stampfel's and my own. I had problems in the 3rd race and finished 6th, otherwise I had 2 second's and 2 3rd's (should have been 4 2nd's, but other issues popped up). I still couldn't get enough initial turn in though, but with asphalt season pretty well over it's time to slap PW's 'bird's setup on the car and run some foams.

PW or Adrian, with the new hubs where do you have the ball stud mounted and how do you have it shimmed? It would be a guess for carpet foams I figure, as I don't think you had the hubs before you went outdoor racing.

Nevada- I TQ'ed and won 19 turn. The car was dialed and I had some motor in qualifying. It seemed to fall off slightly in the main. Mo had the R12 dialed not to mention the killer time advantage we had in the pits. A good pit stop can make a huge difference.

xxxkat- Now that you have experienced a taste of heaven you aren't allowed to run the car for two weeks as punishment for doubting us. car has punch like crazy huh??????

Advil- Good luck at RCCAR today. I'm up already about to head to work on a freakin' Sunday. Oh well overtime will be my friend.

Brushless in my Mi2. I really need to zip tie my wires, but you get the point.

Gary had his MI2 running good last night.... the brushless was fast!! Really pulled Nick the first part of the straight. Nick won 4 of the 5 mains for the overall win. The R12 was leading the 100 lap nitro race until lap 38 when the crystal fell out...oops

Otto, you guys weren't running front or rear sway bars, were you? I'm thinking if I would have pulled the bar off I could have gotten the turn in I wanted.

Yeah, I was running thru some ideas today and 2 that came to mind was that I should have dropped the spring rate and pulled the bars off. Oh well.

Just got back from my first race with the car. I'm very pleased with it. It was very aggresive and very fast. I had a couple issues in the 19 turn main and ended up 4th or 5th I think. ( I got into a guy at the start and when I let him by the rest of the pack decided to go wide and play ping pong with my car ) That with a body tuck put me WAY behind on the first lap but I ran some of the guys down pretty fast and was able to battle through pretty well. I was happy with the result for the first day with the car. It's a very different dring car than the Losi was.

BTW, Don V. won by a lap! He was dialed!

Just curious, anyone try running the stock cvds in 19t. I'm just wondering if they would hold up.
