I always run my sway bars front and rear. The car just feels better (to me ) with them hooked up.

Jkerr:
Congrats on the Schumacher. Make sure you screw in the pins straight in the front hubs. Read some of these pages, you'll see what I mean. Anyway, I've had some glitching with mine, but the car is easy to get planted.

Default carpet setup

leadfoot - I'm pretty sure Paul is using Associated springs, but I could be wrong... PW? I think the main reason people are running other companies springs is because most people are running the Tamiya shocks. And the Schue springs don't fit those. Also the Schue springs don't have as many tuning options as lots of others. When I switched from my stock schumacher springs (when I didn't have my Tamiya shocks) to some associated springs it made my car much much better. My lap times probably improved by 5 seconds because the car didnt traction roll and stuff every lap.

-WR
Start with this,
Frt, no riser plate, make a brace for the front mount out of the riser plaste.
Carpet frt tower
50 wt oil, 3 hole
Springs vary
tie rods mount to center hole on servo saver
Second hole in from outer on twr
middle upper hole for camber
-2 deg camber, 0 toe
wheel base middle
STEEL drive shaft
Bud frt bumper
and large foam bumper
Stock sway
1mm droop

Rear
Narrow rear belt
50wt , 3 hole pistons
one hole in from outer on top of Carpet tower
upper middle hole for camber
No riser plate, raised 1mm for the mounts
lower innermost hole on the hub for camber, raised rh on the outside
-1.5 toe in,
No sway
0 droop
20t pulley
122 64p RW spur, with gear adapter

I would really recommend getting a few things:
Alloy arm nounts for the rear.
Alloy rear hub carriers. These both allow greater tunning for the rear, you'll see what I mean when you get them.....
Steel driveshafts are a must, F&r
keep the stock 4 degree castor blocks, just stock up on them
hard suspension arms are cool, but just as able to break.

My car has :
alloy arm mounts
alloy rear hubs
alloy 4 degree castor block
alloy 20t layshaft gears
TIR shock mounts
alloy gear adaptor
RW 122t 64p spur
CNC frt and rear diff pullies
ceramic bearings
titanium pins
TRF shocks
Carpet towers
Dirt Trix Bumper
,,,,,, I think that is all. Let me know how it works for you.
Oh yeah gearing, 120-122t spur with 32-40 pinion, ranges on the motor and battery
