So Adrian are you using 2 degrees of toein on the rear and 2 degrees of toeout on the front as standard. This meaning more steering and more rear grip. Is anyone trying the car just bog standard as the Axis 2?

Chris, Yes i am running the pivots as Axis2. I tried it with the 2 and 2 setting, but was much quicker with the older setting. With 2 and 2 the car felt very easy to drive and stable, but that is not a good way to have the car set on the track that i was running on at the time (indoors). When i get out on tarmac this weekend, i will probably try it again.

The Teacher has just been schooled, thanks AdrianM.

I will start testing Wednesday and that toe in/out issue is one of the first things I will be testing after I find my base setup.

Matt- Yeah iyt seems that a twitchy, hard car to drive is a faster car. Whenever my car has been stable and docile it is slow. When its twitchy and im driving well its blinding fast.

Maybe trying the 2 on the front only to improve steering could be a simple solutions for that quick aggressive car.

U2297 Threaded Shock Bodies
U2469 Mission One Way

I have only run once since the car came out. I did run inboard toe front and rear and my car had tremendous steering and response.

What sort of track Adrian?

I believe I will be one of the first to try the Mission in hot weather as I live in Melbourne Australia.

Will keep you guys posted. I suspect setups will be similar to the Axis 2, but the inboard options will allow more steering response as you state

Hello. Is there realy that much of a difference between the graphite and the s1 chassis? Is the graphite that much stiffer, that it is worth getting.
Can someone show me a picture of the s1 car, because i have only seen graphite versions on the net.

thanks for the help

Default My Mission

My Mission has landed!
Purplonium baby!!!
I'm going to get a lobster bib so I don't have to worry about drooling all over it when I build it. Still there is a final trip from the hobby shop to the Dirt Trix shop for the Mission.

Adrian are you and PW planning on making it to the Novak race at Trackside this January if so is any one else planning on making it??? This race is one of the bigger races on rubber tires for touring cars of the year. It looks like all or most of Associated's crew will be there and Paul L. from losi I'm not to sure who else is planning on making it. I know that me and Brian J are planning on doing as much racing up there as we can before the race and get dialed in.

To anyone else that wants to race one of the toughest and the best touring car race in the country they should check this race out for more info check out www.Trackside.com for more info.

I raced my mission on carpet with rubber tires this weekend and was impressed with the car alot just need to find a better tire choice hopefully the fresh stuff will be in this weekend.

KevinK-We are planning on going to the S&N race. PW and McMahon will go for sure. I'm not sure if I can go just yet.

How about you guys coming to our neck of the woods for our biggest race of the year, The Snowbird Nationals? Last year race was UNREAL!

www.snowbirdnationals.com

All of the top drivers from AE, Losi, Yokomo and Schumacher will be there.

Oasis-Carpet, I run asphalt for the 1st time this weekend.

Adrian you should try to make this race its the best place to race Scotty is one heck of a guy and really puts on a show and the racers are top self lots of fast guys. Thats good that PW and McMahon will be here. I dont know for sure if I can make it to the Snowbirds or not I have to see if I can get the time off of work. Also it depends on where and when the carpet nats are this year. If they are at Minregg like I hear I will be going there and not to the Snowbirds but if they are in Cali, I wont go there and then try to make it to the Snowbirds. But only time will tell.....I know Brian J is planning on making the Snowbirds for sure.
