So...everyone have their stuff packed up and ready to race tomorrow?

I took Friday afternoon off and burned up a few packs practicing with PW at Speedline Hobbies. I still can't believe how easy it is to drive the Mi2 with a 8x2 in it!

It should be fun tommorrow...as long as it dosent rain! We are getting quite a Mod turn out now. We had 16 Mod guys last week even with the crappy forecast.

Hey Jason, are you sure the motor is what was making you look slow? J/k. I can't wait to try out my spiffy new Hara motor See you guys tomorrow.

You guys sure looked fast yesterday. lol. You should've seen the look on the nitro guy's face when PW and Furman blew past him with electric cars. lol. That was too great.

protc3 - All practice is IFMAR Worlds practice! The Worlds are unlimited Mod so PW had 8's with him on Friday. I ran an under geared 9x2 (Art, where's my 26 pinion!) and a 8x2 that was a real monster.

I have to get a V2 myself. Those things are the real deal. It's not that they are faster...my Reedy Tis are just as fast. It that with the V2's you can actually re-run a mod motor and get 6 runs or more out of the brushes.

Thanks goes out to Jeff Witman for the help yesterday. The set up changes worked pretty well lastnight and I plan on carrying that over to speedworld next weekend.

The car was pretty good before the changes but the corner speed the car had after the changes made the difference on the slightly tight yet flowing infield. The new rear hubs are pretty nice. They come with the ball studs and inner inserts needed to change the rear toe out board on the car. You will still need to slightly shim the rear hub once the hinge pin and hub are mounted on the arm. I'll try to get a pic posted to show what I'm talking about. All in all it was a good weekend for testing. The take off tire's were hooked with track temps of 130+ with VHT sprayed. Once the track temp started to drop the car got even better. Can't wait to run again next weekend.
