AdrianM...I am planning to run my new MI2 for the first time Sat evening...I've built it up with the setup you guys provided...thanks for that. The only thing I havent done is 1mm antisquat. How important is that...should I go ahead and put in the shims?
Thanks...Mark
Thanks...Mark

Mark - Follow the setups exactly. The anti-squat helps the rear rotate on corner entry and makes the car stop rotating when you get on power.
The following is not directed at Mark...
We get guys ALL THE TIME that say this or that setup didn't work. 100% of the time we find out that they didn't do this or that part of the setup because they didn't have the right spring, the right oil, were to lazy to rebuild the shocks...etc.
I apologize if this post seems a little pushy or arrogant but its frustrating when someone asks for help, we give it, they don't follow the suggestions and then complain that its not working.
Everything on a setup sheet is there for a reason.
- Yes...we are changing roll centers in .5mm increments and yes it does make a difference.
- Sometimes we use anti-squat and sometimes we don't. It has to do with the class you run and the traction.
- Yes...we are setting camber in smaller than .5deg increments.

I pitted close to the Schumacher team at the nats and was really impressed with the car this weekend! I ran stock and 19t and the Mi2 was very fast in both classes and they dominated 19t. When I talked to Paul he said that the car on asphalt/rubber tires has been running a pretty standard set up. I bet that setup would be sweet.
The car has me thinking about switch from my losi...lol In stock trim is the Mi2 under weight?
Great job this past weekend Schumacher!

Hi Jeff....In stock trim the Mi2 (graphite) is between 1/2 to 1 ounce under weight depending on electronics

Stulec, Take a look at the Schumacher set-ups on the site. Take a look at Teemu's from the Worlds warm up. That really shouldn't be all that far off. Although the conditions are completely different over here, we have been using that as a rough base for a while now and it works very well.
Adrian, We are raising the rear R/C to get the rear to rotate more now as well. Not quite sure why some guys had a problem early on, but you are right there was a few people over here that did struggle with a lack of rear traction.
Markg, it's just a case of asjustability really. I have been running AE roll bars for a while and that is because there are a little thinner than the kit std ones. Springs, again they have finer increments. These will fit straight on, although you might have to do something to try and get rid of some play in the roll bars if you try them. Rear hubs, these give a slightly different geometry. It alters the r/c, but from memory without working it out i can't remember which way it takes it. This is quite a mod as you either need to drill the hub out, or bush the wishbone and use an SE pin. It's a bit of a pain to do it accurately.

what does the associated rear hub do.
as I have tons of them because I have associated cars aswell.
But now running the MI2.

The Axle is a touch higher, as is the ball joint. Haven't done a direct comparison so i'm not sure about on track.

I'll try drilling out a set and try it this weekend!
