hey john, how much different is the mi2 compared to the S1??

i got my mission about 2 weeks ago, and its awesome,
i only run around a smooth carpark with some friends, but going to get into some racing,

also the rear belt is nearly snapped somehow, maybe it was the hard hit i had a few nights ago, but would the belt be causing a clicking noise in the rear end??
its louder when reversing...i got a new belt on order, so ill soon find out..

are you talkin about the s1 mi2 or the s1 mission. The belt could be making the clicking noise if its clipping the cutout under neath the rear diff, but id say it would more than likely be a dud bearing with some grit in it. The diferences between an s1 mi2 and a carbon mi2 as far as i know is that the s1 has schumacher own make of carbon composite and it has an adapter to run stick packs insted of side by side packs, but there may be other differences

Ran one of my best Losi set up's on the car today and it didn't work too well. After a few changes the car was okay. I qualified 4th and finished 2nd in the main in the 19 turn class. It's always nice to test things out that worked in the past. I played with the front roll center and front and rear arm spacing. The car is very adjustable so every change made was quick. I'll be going back to Mo's set up next weekend with the standard front roll center.

Getting everything tested and bug free for the Losi race in september at my home track.

Thats cool Stlnlst. My car was awsome today. My driving was satisfactory.Qualified 1/100's off of TQ in 19turn today.Actually he stole it from me in the last round where I broke. We just started running Heads up starts in Quals and man some people are having a rough time on starts.
I have found the P-dub chassis is better then the stock chassis with the setup I am running.Car carries tons of corner speed.Still dont like the spool setup. Can't get it to be faster overall. Anyone else still running a oneway?

I am going back to a standard diff. Will let you know how it works out. I could get the spool to turn in well with 2deg blocks but it would loose too much speed in the middle and exit.

racenut- I was running a oneway today. I took the spool out. Went through too many tire's so I put the oneway back in. I tried the diff but it seemed to slip slightly coming out of the corners (with a mod in it) I plan on trying a diff again sometime soon. I was running the stock 2mm chassis. I might get a P dub chassis before the Losi race.

OK...stupid question time...what's a Pdub chassis? How does it differ from the stock one?? I've just finished building my new MI2 and hope to run it next weekend for some practice. I'm going to give the spool a try to see how she runs...

Thanks.
