not sure when it will be handy, you can go to their website and check it out. It is 3mm, and yes they are taking the plates off.

Default Don Vinkemulder wins with MI2!!!!

After four races with the same layout, over 510 entries, Schumacher Driver Don Vinkemulder was crowned the fastest on the track! Don ran the new Mission MI2 to victory! R/C Heat presented Don Vinkemulder a Silver Cup for 19T Spec and another for Modified Sedan. Way to go Don and Schumacher!

32 rounds of qualifying???????? , did you multiply the 16 by two...anyways, that would make it two rounds of qualifying, with 16 heats. correct me if I am wrong, and there really were 32 rounds, that would suck, talk about battery kill, and motor cutting.

Default Setups

Now, not only will www.gearchart.com have the best gear ratio / rollout calculator, it will also have setups for many cars from factory drivers too. It was just started today so there aren't many setups posted yet but there will be many more to come.

I just finished a box to hold a power supply and power strip to keep clutter to a minium, and finished it off with a name plate with stickers sandwitched between to plates of plexiglass and only the Schumacher stickers color ran in the glue. I would have been sweet looking. Bad schuie bad!

How is the MI2 durability wise? Is it needed to have spare parts in the pitbox? I dont need any for my HPI Pro2

Which do you think is the toughest, XRay Factory Edition or MI2?

And I DO know the story about dont touch the boards, but thing is, I do from time to time.

Cole, the only thing I have damaged on my car was and axel drive cup, and thats becuase I was running a spool. I have since switched to the ti dogbones and the car is as durable as any car I have had, if not moreso. I have had some pretty good hits, thought for sure the car was broken, and it came back in one piece. In comparison, the Xray I had, I broke a couple c hubs/ steering blocks with the same kind of impacts.

Tim, that's very interesting.

I havent tried a spool, but I believe that it's as hard as a one-way to the CVD's / outdrives.

Not that I'm getting a new car tomorrow, but at some point, I will. The XRay and the MI2 is the most interesting to me. Both are well supported and high quality and good adjustment options. And I want a belt car.

Best thing is, that the MI2 are cheaper than the XRay around here

For how long have you had your MI2? Have many times have it been on the track for practise and races?

Default Base Set up Mi2

I have just received my Mi2, and am looking for a base set up for a flowing tarmac circuit with medium grip (Take Off tyres). Can you please give me some advice on where to position cambers link, shock positions etc so I can have build the car with a reasonable base setting. I was running 30wt Oil with 1 hole and this worked well on the Mission. Have any of you guys run the Mi2 with similar shock set up.

Also are there any useful options parts that I should buy before building the car. (I have the steel dogbones from the mission that I will be using on the Mi2).

Thanks

Matt
