Corey.....the room is under Jacob Kent....look me up we will be there sometime wednesday afternoon.

I went to the track that all the losi/trinity and some associated drivers were practicing for the Champs at. So I did not get to see the mission run this weekend. Paul Lemuiex's XXX's is fast and won and almost tq'ed over Cyrul, Spachette(sp), Kindwald and Hodap and other really fast guys. I think this years race will be better then ever and one to watch.

Also my thoughts and prayers go out to Mike McMahon and I am sorry to hear about his loss. All I can say is keep your chin up buddy.

Default Steering Problems

OK Guys...a technical post...may be trivially simple to some of you, but it solved a problem thats been plaguing me for a while, and I hope it may help someone else. I've been having a problem with steering, thinking that it wasn't centering properly. I was about to replace what I thought to be a very expensive, faulty steering servo. What would happen is going down the straight one lap the car would tend to wander one way, so I would dial in a click or two of steering to straighten, only to find it wander in the opposite direction a lap or two later...

Last night a took the car (A2) apart, and finally found what I believe to be the culprit...a bent long steering post...once straightened, the steering is much freer, and centers perfectly. Apparently when bumped the steering post would turn a little, pulling the steering off due to the curvature...

Long story short, I didnt have to replace my servo, and my car is tracking true again...It's an easy thing to check (kind of like hinge pins)...just be careful not to drop the spacers out when you remove the post.

Hope that helps someone...

Later guys...Mark

Like the Schumacher site says, most of us hadn't driven the car till sunday morning, so to get 5 in the final was a good result.

I'm a Type A personality...me and patience don't get along very well....

But to be honest, my A2 has been kicking butt lately, so I can hold out a little longer....

I'll send my karma, but I'll split it evenly between the Schumacher guys and whatever Corally guys make it there!

The Missions came in on Monday. PW has them in Grand Rapids right now. He's getting to Cleveland Wednesday afternoon. McMahon is with him and is up to speed.
