That's right, it from Better off Dead. The character is Charles De Mar. I love that move. "Gee, I'm real sorry your mom blew up Ricky"

Default Metal Spur gear for Mission?

Ok, I put a novak ss in my Mission for bashing on the street. Its blistering fast - terminally.

I keep stripping spur gears. Does anyone make a metal spur gear that fits the Mission?

There has to be a bit of flex there. I had the mesh set pretty tightly, and it still spun one out. Maybe I'll try the aluminum spur mount.

Anyone else running the Novak SS in their mission?

Thanks,

Matt

How's the balance of the MI2? Seems to me, that the shaft guys complain about balance problems.... What do you guys think? Not from a theoretical point of view, but from a track point view. Do you have to deal with un-even setup from side to side?

Thanks.

racer x showed me a "trick" (or maybe it was design ) to set the balance on the mi2 using the movable battery tray and the new shock towers with the notch in the middle of them (Speedworld got moreschumacher parts yesterday so I picked up the new rear tower that I still hadn't gotten).

the car can be balanced in many different ways but the one thing that needs to be looked at is the different electronics that racers are using. Ii should be fairly simple for you to balance the MI2 no matter what electrics you are using. The adjustable battery tray does make it easier to shift weight in the car. The shaft guys may need to balance their car to the "T" to make sure that the torque steer doesn't hurt the car too bad.
