Just got back from the first run on the Mi2 and all I can say is awsome! Put PWs asphalt setup on the car and it was very good right out of the box. Normally I have a problem with new cars and getting the feel that I like, but this is the best a new car has ever felt to me. Only a few small changes for stock: 40wt all around and went to 20lb springs all around to free the rear end up some. In the end, however, the rust got me (haven't ran for awhile) and drilled a board taking me out of the main. The car is a pleasure to drive, but next time I'll bring a map so I know where those corners are.

Thumbs up Easy Build!

Well, I got the car on Wednesday night. I sanded the graphite parts for sharp edges that night. On Thursday after school, I went at it. Time from start to finish, excluding shock build, was 3.5 hours. Very, Very easy build. The car went together very nicely. Only two tings I had to modify, sand the rear A-Arms to fit the E-clip onto the hinge pin, and a little "exacto-ing" of the front steering knuckes. I can't wait to run it this next weekend. I will post many updates.

thanks for letting me run your car yesterday. Mine is now ready for some action but I'm going to hold off for the oneway and more caster blocks (if they're in stock) for next weekend. What changes did you make to the set up after I ran it? Are driving stlye are slightly different as you were looking for more steering and I wanted less. We have all spring and summer ahead so testing will be a blast.

oh yeah....I'll be in Oregon for the nats. I have some folks out there that I haven't seen in years and I have already let them know when I'm coming into town.

What track does your boy run at? Since he runs for redline....then he's a mod racer and that will work out fine.

I used to go to that Hobby Town when I was living in SA. Is that still the only good place to race in SA?

Hobbytown is the only place right now...I think the US Pan Car champs will be held there next year. There is another track opening up next month called Phat Boyz. Mainly 8th scale but they plan on running 10th too.
