Oasis 2001:
Yes there are lots of info on the net. Yes you need solution (car battery acid) and current (RC-nicad). No, the voltage doesn't have anything to do with the color. You just need some dye (purple). It's not difficult and it's not dangerous, but don't do it indoors because some nasty gases will be released.

Geppetto: well I can tell you from racing agaist them, that the Losi is a very impressive car on the track. I have not seen one that handles badly yet. Give it a chance on the track to see how you like it.

You can always sell it later to get a Mission!

Ahsikes: Either will do, I doubt that there really is a noticible difference (Hummm, maybe someone should write an article on that?).

Paul: Congrats on the first run of the season and first podium.

Anodizing: Is not easy to do and is very dangerous. Basicly you create a car-battery-in-a-bucket and put the aluminum into that. The fumes are very explosive that comes off the solution once the Al is in the acid. I would NOT reccomend that anyone try this at home. What the process does is open up the pores in the aluminum which is then dipped into standard dye. The dye get into the pores creating the color. In the case of Purplunium, if the outer coating is removed, the inner parts instantly oxidize to a greyish/silver color. The Purplunium is then neutrilized by the oxidation rendering its mistical speed properties useless. I would recommend leaving an unstable element like Purplunium (as with Volkwagens Turbonium...both a variation of the same molecule) alone...

My "mole" was able to get some more covert inside info, some of you may remember the prototype part that racer_x used at the NORRCA Worlds cup (was it at the worlds cup?), well seems as if there is some experimental genetic engineering going on using this new Purplonium compound. Notice the splotches of purplonium throughout the highly trained winged attack insect

Just a quick qustion for you?! I just wanted to check with you dudes. How would you gear a 8x2 with a 115 spur? The straightaway is about 145feet long! I am making a educated guess, saying 115/30? And for a 7x2, would be 115/29? Just need ur opinions. Reason for me asking this is becauce I am now running the new P-94 motors.

Harsh: You have way too much time on your hands...LMAO! (the Schumacher fly is an old joke about flys attacking the other drivers on the drivers stand, but not Schumacher drivers). The flies were infused with a dose of Purpulonium in order to acheve this effect...

Corey: You'll have to get that answer from PW, sorry

Ahsikes: Just call Schumacher and have it added to the order, thats what I did. Shocks, hubs, suspension arms and mounts will all be the same (all of the suspension pieces). Drive train and chassis will be different...

Cory-If you are racing banked oval that 30T might work. With an 8x2 try a 115/24. Thats a safe place to start and you can gear up from there. Drop a tooth for the 7x2.

ahsikes-Schumacher UK tells us that the parts list should be ready by the end of this week. It should be on the message board on www.racing-cars.com as soon as its ready.

Yeah Adrian...

What is the thought behind no threaded bodies on the Carbon car ? I mean if you are doing a pro version... should it have threaded bodies ?

Spooky.....It might be because they dont see the treaded shocks as a must have for it to be raced. You really dont need them IMHO. They are nice but the shims work just as well.

I was running the stock alloy shocks on my A2 for the longest time, with no problems! I thought that they were easier to adjust then the fine threads of the threaded bodies. If you have threaded bodies it is nice to have a tweak-board aswell.
