I've been running the RW rear pulley now for a few weeks, and you don't use the dust caps with that...and I don't notice any increased tendency for attracting garbage into the diff...that was one worry I had that didnt materialize..
Thanks.

Jason...I use the exact same procedure to rebuild mine, and have been extremely satisfied with the results. I havent upgraded to the pro rear diff yet...was waiting for parts to wear out, but will in the near future..

I had that problem with the front belt coming off this past weekend...I attributed it to a very hard collision though. When I checked my car the belt was flipped over onthe rear pully, had slipped off the side of the tensioner, and sucked up beside the spur gear...it only happened once and as a result of a hard hit, so I didnt attribute it to a running problem. The belt appeared to be stretched unequally long-wise, which made it look sort of twisted, but it still worked well in the next two runs. I've ordered a new front belt just becuase the other one is pretty old and tattered, so it will go in the parts box as a spare...

Cheers guys!!

Jeff, Yes the older diffs can be converted to teh new spec. It does require quite a few bits. You are looking at new outdrives, thrustrace, centre ballraces, screw set. The build it totally different, anyone that had an axis 2, it is the same as that in that the thrust is loaded from the centre and circlipped in place.

I have to say that i don't recall having problems with diffs in my other older car though.

Hey hey guys!! Its been a long time since my last post on here...! Been really busy testing different things..... It is in my opinion my duty to state to everyone on this board(best in the internet) as I did to Paul. My Schumacher reign of 2 years has come to a fork in the road, and I would like to try another way to get there.(if u catch my drift). I will still be here from time to time, to help anyone who has a question with the car... I know it inside an out. Thank you........

Well been doing a little shopping and am now in the need for some Mission baseline setups. I will be racing the car on an indoor med bite concrete surface. The tire of choice is take off 27 or sorex 28 with Hpi Green. I have found some carpet info and will be racing the car there as well...but a good concrete starting spot would be great!

I just picked up a Mission, and so far so good. Can't wait to get it all built and try it out on the track. I am going to be offering a full allen head stainless screw kit for this car as well.
