Pit_Racer...Look us up when you get to town...will be nice to have another Schumacher driver around, although I know some of the guys are anxiously awaiting the new car. There are two tracks in town, one on the north side of town and one south. They are both racing afternoons every Saturday now, starting at 1 pm...come by and say hi...

Seaball, Set the diff like you would any other diff. I always try to run the diff just tight enough where it doesnt slip. Put it in the car and while keeping both tires on the ground, pull the belt and see if the diff slips, if it does, its too loose.

Who uses stiff(carbon rims) here? All the top drivers seem just to use the standard Proline plastic type rims. Schumacher rims are very stiff and I am scared about mounting on them as the car may be crap.

I use them every once in a while (I usually use the Yokomo 4 pks). The stiff rims are not as 'forgiving' as the stiff ones...usually on loose tracks. For the most part, you won't really notice any difference and they most certainly won't make the car crap.

I think he meant to say the stiff rims are not as forgiving as the soft ones....

I have always used Schumacher wheels. However in the last couple of weeks i have drifted to running HPI. They are much lighter and give a little more flex. I don't like the idea of running a rim that is as soft as the Proline.
