Kevin K... where did you mount your new transponder? The instructions say not to mount it on metal or carbon fiber... not much left to mount it on.

Ottoman.....are you talking about the personal transponders? When I ran one I just put it on the top plate.....but I think you can mount it on the servo if you have room.....thats where I would mount mine if I ran it all the time.

Kevin K,

I heard a rumour at the last Fla State series race, that Schumacher was making a running change to the Mission, to revert back to old ,bigger balls in the diffs. But the RW Pullies will be the same balls as the current diffs. Might want to ask Adrian or Paul.

I mount mine on the Black Plastic peice on the bumper. I know its slanted but it works. The reason why dont have in in the center of the car is because if iam in a real close race with somebody, my car tags the line first

Well I had my rear Grey belt snap on me in the main race this weekend. What is the typical lifespan of these belts? I didn't even have mine for half a season. My fornt Grey belt looks like its in worse shape than the rear one, but the rear one is the one that broke.

All I ever ran with it is stockmotors, so what gives?

Hey guys.....RW Pulleys use all stock components for the diffs and the oneway pulley uses the one-peice center from the stock oneway.

The diff balls are 2.5mm and will stay 2.5mm. The running change to the diffs will be the assembly of the outdrives and thrust bearings. I will update you more as I'm informed by Schumacher UK.

Man belts breaking n half a season for stock racing, man I just dropped $270 on a new CF mission and didn't know that much about this issue? I wonder if it was rubbing against some part of the car underpower? Which belts are the tougher belts? Does the kit come with the greys? Will the manual give me the part number for the tougher belts? Man I hope I didn't just waste $270 cause of some belts?

Proud-What are you smoking?? LOL You did not waste one dime.
I think he had something rubbing, my belts are just fine and ive had mine since May. What I think happened to him is that while he was driving the car, I noticed that the belts can actually turn upside-down and keep going. That might of been it, or his belt may of been too loose or too tight. The grey belts are really ment for mod racing. The stock ones will do fine.

Your right, what was I smokin? I'm sure stock racing can't be that hard on some belts. Heck I know I didn't waste any money, the car is doing great at our track and I've seen it turn some unreal lap times at others. Belts wearing is just part of the maintenace all these cars will have so it's no biggie. Half a season sounds normal-what do you expect? The car is FAST!

Belts

Guys, the belts that come with the kit are black and are the strongest ones. The grey ones are more flexible but will wear. I only ever run mod and run with a black rear and grey front.

RW pullys, much much better. Got to add a bit to PW's reply though. If you have one of the real early 2 piece one-ways (not sure if there are many left now) then the "one way" RW pully won't fit your old 2 piece parts.

Does anyone have an opinion on running the rear top arms (3 and 4) up front (replacing 1 and 2). I had a couple of breakages the other night and was forced to run in this configuration as I had no spare fronts. The car seemed great, more aggressive stearing (less castor - anyone know how much?) and very driveable. This would also meen having to stock less spares, not that I plan on breaking too much but still it definately has it's advantages.

Also, the grey belts are for stock racing according to the schuie website. Everyone I know who runs a mod has the kit, black, rear belt and most use the grey front.
