Oh, and it looks like the Mi3 allows pretty much infinite adjustability on the tow in, so I'd start at 3 degrees.

Craig what amount of droop are you running front and rear?
You can also go to www.racing-cars.com for setup sheets

I think PRS made some that work with Mi3 series, but I don't think they have that many choice (114 and 116 only from Nexus Racing)...beside them, I don't recall any brand made spur for Schumacher Mi3...

Btw, what is wrong with the Schumacher one...? The color or the choice of the teeth?

106/42 will give you 4.543. I ran 13.5 yesterday with a 114/41 which gave me 5.005. I could have fit a 42t on, but that's as large as you could possibly go with a 114 spur.

Never ran 17.5 before, but i am this weekend. carpet rubber 115ft straight. 106 and 50 is the biggest that will fit. thats FDR of 3.82. i dont think thats low enough. i heard people tell me more like a 3.2?

Wow that's a tiny ratio. What about potential 48p combinations that could get you in the proper range? Maybe you could get a small enough 48p spur in time.

If you need spurs smaller than the schumacher go to your local auto parts store (autozone or pepboys) and get one of these vacumm fittings part# 47341, then cut the larger size about 3mm in size. Then fit that piece over the bearing. Then slide on to the spur gear of choice. You have to drill 2 new holes on the spur gear to mount it on the pulley. The vacumm fitting cost less than $3.00 and it took me all about 5 minutes to do. I keep it in my box when I need a certain gear ratio than I cant do with the Schumacher spur gears. I hope this helps.

with this easy spacer I can use almost every spur gear out there.
