I am looking for good set up preferably with a bit more steering than std; it's for a 17.5 on a track with a long straight maybe 40 metres long but with pretty technical parts and medium high traction (TFTR Melbourne, Australia)

Edit: My car will be 1425grams if that makes a diff

Also can i see some pics of mi3's with 3pk receivers and lrp tc for mounting ideals

thanks

i believe randy castor's setups have more steering than most people care to deal with.

Just some interesting news regarding UK drivers at Schumacher.

Chris Grainger has now joined from Yokomo.
He's been the UK Mod champion 3 years running beating the likes of Andy Moore and Elliot Harper pretty regularly.

Perhaps now the Mi3 will get some much needed development to take it to the next level.

Yokomo might not release a new car until 2010 which will probably be focused on the worlds that year.

Skiddins, great news indeed. Can I ask were you heard it from - there is nothing on the Schumacher site and something as big as this I would have expected them to announce it.

Start out with the attached setup. It is for asphalt but it is a great start. If its open tires run Sorex 28R or Jaco Green tires all the way around. Put traction compound on the full rear and inside 1/3rd of the fronts to start and increase the width if you need more steering.

If you need more rear traction stand up the rear shock a hole and or move the rear lower arms back 2mm.

...and yes we are running spools on carpet with rubber tires.

Need rough roll out idea.

I haven't run rubber tire touring in quite a few years. Building the car, just want to get a pinion and spur on it that are going to be close, so I can pimp the electrical install.

Mi3.5, rubber tire, 17.5, 7.4 volts, carpet track 40x80

Thanks,
-Bob
