hey I recently decided to race my old 99 pro on parking lot races again. I have had the car since well, 99 and am not really sure of a good hot weather rubber tire setup. We run 19t and use a large track (80X220') track temps are usally 140deg. I have been running about 6 mm ride ht, sorex 36 tires, side saddle chassis(original) no one ways or abs, lots of rear toe and hpi red springs front, yellows rear. I am looking for more highspeed steering or grip, without getting loose as soon as I release the throttle. DrooP and ride height seemed to help the most, but if any old setups are out there, I would like to try them.
thanks

Who ever said that Mi3 was brittle and broke easy is full of it.One of my cars took a major hit in the middle 120 ft stright.Took a shot right in the side and the only damage to the cars is one bent bulkhead, broke one arm and one steering knuckle. The hit was hard enough to knock the servo out of the car and the mounts are still in the car.Destroyed the switch and fan on my GT though. I think if it had been the standard bulksheads and not the light weight ones I don't think it would have bent.

Anyone hear know how to get ahold of David D. from Dad's electronics?

I got my mission that was a box of parts and was sitting in a dusty garage for many years, back into a roller ready for the track. Just need a bumper to get going. Do these cars use a specail bumper or are they the same as an mi2?
