How tight are people running they belts? I am using the low-friction belts in 17.5 and 13.5 rubber. I current have mine set to the sixth slot turning forward on the front and fifth turn turning towards the rear on the back end.

Also, I got my SP GT 1.1 in today and am gonna be putting it in my car. I currently use a LRP TC Spec set to 7-0-0. what settings would you recommend I use on the SP GT. Once again, it will be 17.5 and 13.5 rubber. My 17.5 is currently geared at 3.6 FDR and I come off at 165-170 after a 5 minute run.

Hi Dudes
I've ordered SP LPF ESC and Orion Vortex2008 13.5 motor but I have no idea how to gear them
I was running 27T on small tight carpet track with 89T Spur and 16T Pinion so overall gearing was 10 ...
Could you please give me some Idea where to start
Many thanx in advance ....

a good rule of thumb is to run them as tight as possible until you feel the drivetrain start to bind up from it. leave your pinion off the car and freespin the drivetrain with the belts a bit loose. keep going on the cams until the freespin is reduced. now back off one and you're set.

note: the grey belts can be run tighter than the black ones before dragging the transmission down.

Should be fairly soon, team driver back orders were being fulfilled as of last week.

the steel axles should not be prone to snapping like before, and should defenitel be more durable. The silver bones look the same though...are they the same as before or newer beefier version?
