I too can vouch for my schumacher SMH...they are holding up very well, and voltage has increased a little, after traying them.

the new Ultras from schumacher are now in stock at metro.

If anyone is interested, I fixed the problem with my one way diff by welding (carefully!) the plate back onto the centre axle. I couldn't wait for a replacement. Anyway it worked fine, and I'll never have to worry about that problem again!

By running rear arms up front, what exactly does it do, for the car?

This allows you to get caster adjustments of less than 6 deg.

BagofSkill-All of the one ways that habe been avaialbe for the last 2 months have a one piece center section. You Aussie distributor should have one piece center sections for owners of old diffs to retrofit into their front pulleys.

Adrian M,

I just got a mission.
I have been running the TC3 for 3 yrs in stock class. I was a little nervous to change a new chasis but I am determind to give it a go. I race at Lazer speedway in Adrian Michigan. We run only rubber tires I have all sorex tires made. What I need is a little set up information to start with. the track is long 185' X 60' long sweeping straight that can be taken straight if you set the corner up correctly. next few turns are switch backs into a chicane with an another section that can be a straight if the correct line is given the back into some swtich backs.
any way like i said currently running TC3 with peak hell fire motors reedy 3000hv worlds cells and sorex tires I was thinking of trying to set the car up close to how the tc3 is with assc. springs and all. I just dont know if the Mission will react well or how it will react at all. I guess some testing will be in order I would just like a base line set up and I will inquire from there.
thanks
the car looks cool lets see if i can get it to look as good on the track.

thanks
Randy Butera

RAndy,
Are you running on carpet or asphalt? Either way, there are some excellent setups on this thread. I would advise you to go back and read as much as you can to learn about the Mission. The two setups you should pay attention to are the carpet one from Rob Love and the Asphalt one from Larry Pryor.

Good luck,

Randy, I can get you dialed in on the rug with foams. These guys can get you set on rubber tires....

Take care,
Rob

Randy- Forgive me for not communicating myself clearly- Adrian and Paul (they ARE Shumacher USA) will most assuredly point you towards Larry and Rob's setups. They are pretty much the starting points for the appropriate surfaces all over the US. These setups come from hours and hours of testing by sponsored Schumacher drivers. Again, if you would go back and read this thread, you would have known that. You wll find a ton of information on this thread- and a lot of it comes from Adrian and Paul.

Happy racing!!

I recently applied the front roll center modification to my mission, I like the steering or should I say consistent steering. What I don't like about this mod is that my car flips over easily. Before applying the mod I could come close to the corner dots or I could roll over the outer edges of the dots without my car getting to out of shape, but now if my car even looks to close at the dot if flips over. Any suggestions?

In general terms i would say that is caused by a combination of too stiffly sprung and or too much pack.
