C'mon there is no magic .2 from switching shocks.

I agree with Doug...it's just the setup difference in how the shocks are built. But just swapping shock to shock I can't see making a difference. Heck who wants a blue shock on a purple car. That just looks nonPIMP.

Thats too funny, I remember the 04 regional/ national in portland. One of the shumi guys was running TRF shocks, I guess this debate just never died lol. If memory serves me correct it was andrew.... Wonder if he still runs the TRF shocks... maybe he could shed some light on this lol

The HPI springs are pretty good on carpet, but because they have so many coils they make the car feel a bit lazy, if your car is twitchy they are definately an easy fix but Tamiya springs feel somewhere right in the middle of the Schumacher springs and HPI springs so I generally start with those.
Randy, you run these on carpet? Does HPI have springs in the 23-35lbs range?
