I love my Mission...=)

I love working on her, tuning her, spending time with her, caressing her...
she has been good to me in return...

the best car I have ever had!

Great job Sunday, Mr. TQ you had that 12 scale dialed in. Paul was awesome as always (untouchable) and thank you both for the help. For my first time on carpet, it made a world of difference. Hope to see you out there again its always a learning experience. Thanks!

TEAM SCHUMACHER!

Concrete anyone?

Hello boys,

You guys have gotten kinky since last I posted!!!

I am going to give my Mission a shot outdoors before I run indoors on carpet. Can you guys point me in the general direction of a medium grip set-up for a brushed concrete surface on rubber tires? The surface I would charecterize as medium grip, a little dusty and no traction additives put down!! So far the tires that work are the Sorex, Yokomo and Take-Off's in 28 to 32 range with FIRM Yokomo INSERTS. I bold that because medium inserts do not work on this surface. That we are sure of!!
I bet a medium grip asphalt set-up would work here.

Thanks guys,
Ray

Thanks adrian, seems to be very similar to what we have found on med grip asphalt.

I have yet to try the front evo mounts, as I feel the car already has lots of mid corner to exit steering. I like to run the 2 degrees inboard toe at the front and 0 inboard toe in at the rear.

How do those losi pistons compare to the vari's?..would thay be silmilar to 3 hole vari?

I see you are running the new Takoff compounds...how do you like the new blue inserts? personally I feel that they went the wrong way in eradicating some of the problems with the previous insert, as there is now an even greater airgap, and less sidewall support

We have got our cars going very well, taking tq and wins allot lately in modified, and we are now working towards getting the stock team to a level of dominance, I shall forward your setup to a few of the guys to try

Cheers!

hey adrian, what are you guys finding when you cut the top of the hubs down 2mm? I've been trying to run the raised front roll center but it doesn't feel as good to me. Maybe it needs more of a standard setup than what I normally run. All of my testing has been outdoors. I can't do my unlimited testing on carpet anymore . Talk to you guys soon, need to place an order.
