I'm a couple grams underweight. Orion Vortex Brushless, LRP Sphere TC, KO 302F reciever, KO low profile servo, Orion 4200's and a transponder. Expecting my lightweight bulkheads today or tomorrow, those should send me well underweight

It wasnt till about this time last year i was having problems with my car then running a Xray T2. I was talking to probably there best team driver over here in the UK about it. He looked at my car and said the set up was pretty much the same as his etc the rear diff would be causing the problem. To be honest i didnt even think it would matter to much if the diff had a bit of grit in it. Just to proove the point i had a new built up diff in my box i swapped it over he set the tension of it which was pretty much the same as what i had anyway and then did my next run. I couldnt belive the difference in the car it felt the best it had ever done ever since then the diffs in my cars get rebuilt etc very regular.

Also on this point im interested to hear why some of you have been running your diffs on the Medium - Loose side ? Is this just with foams or with rubber aswell ?
We were talking about carpet racing on foam tires. Thats the only place where we run front diffs.

On rubber tires we run a front spool and a rear diff as loose as you can run it with it not slipping. Loose rear diffs give more on power steering. Stock guys can run it REALLY loose and as you go from 19T to mod you have to run it a little tighter to prevent slip with all the power.

The instructions say go full tight and back it off 1/8-1/4 turn. For Mod I run a little looser than 1/8, 19T about 1/4 loose and for stock almost 3/8 loose.

I think I'm going to actually make it up for the 17th. FHR Series race was canceled.

Your package was forwarded from CT, and will be delivered by weeks end which prevented me from sending out a 2nd one, but it is inbound.
