AdrianM are you still running the Core lipo exclusively? Have you found any downside of using this pack over nimh's. I just picked up one and I'm *seriously* thinking about offloading quite a few nimh's so I can convert over to BL/Lipo....

ps- any other opinions are welcomed

The Core LiPoI was using was a Schu USA test piece. Shawn has it now. He has been running the p!$$ out of it and it is still going strong.

Now, I am running some old blown out IB4200's that are better as paper weights than race packs

Once you try Lipo, you'll never go back to the old nimh tech. Especially of the quality of CoreRC lipos. I'd recommend to you read thru the Lipo threads on here- all the info you need is there, and then some- especially posts from Mr. Black, linger, and others...

What happens when you get a new battery or a new motor? How are you going to solder the plugs on?

I've hung up my NiMh for good as well... I've found they make great paperweights.

I've been using the Core LiPo and nothing else

No "LW" king-pins.

If your just messing around it doesn't matter, but the spool will be harder on the drivetrain. You should use a std front diff for play.
