Good job to all the Schuie guys this weekend. I'm going to try and get back on the asphalt in a couple of weeks. I've been trying, but crap keeps happening. (a rare rain out, got sick, a birthday party, half our county caught fire ) I haven't raced anything in over a month.

It was a well faught race day with some very fast drivers. I ended up Tq in 19T and winning 19T. Yang and Marker were right in the mix as well.

In stock I just didn't have a clean run and I was on a TQ pace twice but I decided I wanted to park it in the boards a few time just for giggles. I ended up qualifying 3rd and I believe yang qualified 6th.

It was a tough main but i was able to squeek a win out by a few seconds. I believe yang also finished around 6th place or so.

Marker didn't run in stock, so he was able to video the stock main....the commentary is pretty funny!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8JAqka6PMM

overall I believe we took home over $600 between the 3 or us! I used the same setup I had in Vegas and the car was MONEY$$$$$!!!!!!

PW what would be a good starting rollout with the LRP 6.5 brushless? 58mm tires & tight/med-high grip carpet...

BK and Pooky have their bars . . .
PW has his bumpers . . .

Prototype Mi3 Kydex Bumper!

If it weren't for insomnia I'd never get anything done

At least I won't go through 5 packages of arms in a weekend again.

I am not done with the shape. I need to make sure both rubber and all foam tires clear the kydex and I am going to extend the sides a bit wider to protect the whels better. I also need to find a Pdub for an Mi3 to make sure it works. I have extra space for the thickness there already. I also need to smooth out the edges and se about getting this professionally cut in bulk somehwere. The holes will be thre for the body posts to go througtomorow or so. I'll keep y'all up to date. Hopefully I have it braced well enough against the bulkhead at the top and bottom that it doesn't pull the screws through the bottom of the chassis like the FK05 did. I thik that was a problem with how close the screws were to the edge of the CF though and the Mi3 doesn't seem to have that problem. I know one thing though . . . if I don't break it in testing, it won't be because I didn't try!!

Any comments and thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

ps. Mcgoo, do those red standoffs look familiar? lol

Andrew, I would be concerned that you bend a bulkhead. I know that some of the t2 guys that had the large bumper were tweeking bulkhead.

Team Schumacher had a great weekend at the Halloween Classic!!

Team Drivers and privateers did a great job supporting each other and working together to make sure we all went faster. As usual, outstanding
support from Sean and Adam helped keep the cars on the track and in the mains. Congrats to the folks who made the show, and to all who did thier personal best. Well done

I'm new to on road so, why do you want so much plastic under the bumper?

he is doing it to try an protect the front suspension arms. in a turn if you tag a board, it tends to pull the arm back and eventually snap the arm.
