Had great fun with my Mi3 at Carpet Wars R1 today, Many thanks to Jimmy Maddison and his setup, and for the tips I've picked up from this thread, for getting me on A final pace even though my thumbs couldn't quite keep up with my car on a number of occasions I made my first A final at this level of competition.
Cheers guys

Hey Guys,
I want to get a Lipo pack for the Halloween race, but not sure which one to get. Any ideas from the group? I was looking at the Orion 3800 7.4V Carbon.

Used the std roll bars and schuie blue and white springs. the car was very unstable for the first run but as soon as the grip came up it was dialed.

I don't know about the rules for this race/track, but the 4800 fits very nicely with no mods, has quite a bit more capacity, and is a little heavier (so you don't have to add as much weight to stay balanced side to side). It does cost a bit more too though. Just an FYI. All I had to do to get it to fit was cut some lexan squares the rough dimensions of the battery slots, servo tape them to the battery, and then tape my battery in.
