Thanks for ALL the responses dealing with bodies guys. I'm pretty much sold on the Mazda Speed6 for asphalt, now I just play with wing positions/height. As for carpet, I'm loving the Mohawk. I have a DNA1 all gussied up but don't know which car to mount it on (my asphalt/rubber car, 27t-19t or my carpet/foam, 27t one) The G6 sounds like it might be something to play with though.... I'm in the same boat as Darkseid though, since my driving has improved ALOT I have quite a few painted (expensive) bodies laying around.

there were like 15 or so running 19t. the track is too small to run mod, plus there was only 4 people running that class. that was my first time out there but it seemed like 19t is the class right now.

I'm about to drop a brushless 19t in for the first and am wondering how different the gearing is from the brushed motors are. Where are you guys starting for about a 100 ft. track?

Finally got the pics taken of the cars for the IIC. Here they are!

Edit: Hmm, might be too big, I'll work on getting them up when I get back from the race.

Hey guys. Just got home about an hour ago. I was going to try and head up to Vegas Saturday and Sunday, but I found out I have to work Saturday. Oh well, after this last week, the credit card needs time to cool off anyways. Good luck to all the guys heading out for Vegas.

If it feels edgy on exit i'd either change the castor to 2*, or change the rear droop (4mm - turn droop screws out), try 4mm on the Horizontal Link Washers or lenghten the rear wheelbase by 0.5-1mm.

Out of interest, what was your setup for the KO?

hey guys, just build my diff up with the new diff rings and there seems to be a good 0.5-1mm slack between the outdrive and the diff ring! is this normal? is it a more snug fit when you use the non-notched outdrives?

also, after the diff was build there seemed to be a high spot somewhere, rebuilt the diff again and its still there any ideas what might be causing it?

All the best in vegas! whoever is fortunate enough to make the trip

any help appreciated

Foam tire question...

Last year, I ran Parma Cyan/Magenta and it worked well. But I'm looking to run the Jaco Prism's this season and while they have Magenta, I'm not sure what they're equivalent to the Cyan tire would be. Anybody know?

Also, what are you guys running for regualar grip carpet.(regular-as in not nationals level traction). The standard carpet set up from the manual list Magenta, which I assume means magenta all around.
