I was told by a birdie that xray 1* rear hubs will work on the Mi3. Has any one done the testing/math to determine the shims are required to bring the ball on the xray hub up to the stock height or up to the same height as the 1* shui hubs? I also jsut realized, for anyone else wanting to run an xray 1* rear hub, te outer hinge pin dia on te xray is smaller than the schui. I am guessing the xray is 3 mm pin while the schui is a 1/8th inch pin. Nothing my dremel and a stock motor bushing reamer won't fix .

Run those foams right down to the glue!

I don't have an Mi3, but can't you just back off the bottom ball cup? I sometimes have to do this on my xray with near-glue foams.

You can get the lowered shock towers to solve the problem. Lengthen your shocks too much and you'll bottom out the piston on the bladder..

. . .besides . . .when else am I going to spray a one color wonder, set up my car for practice before racing tomorrow, eat, and pack up my stuf for the morning??? Sheesh!

Thanks for the reminder about the bladder Randy. I have it on good faith from another racer that the top of the shaft just touches the bladder at 63 mm. If I need any more droop , I'll just throw the lowered tower on there.

-Marc, Which end of the car were you having trouble getting down to ride height with Thursday? Was that with or without the lowered tower on that end?

Just got back from my first day on the MI3, fairly productive. Car was very good in a medium bite situation towards the end of the day, made a ferw changes to suit me better for the Goetz setup. I am running 0 degree hubs, and .5 degrees of toe in on the rear arms. Softened the oil in the rear to 20 wt, moved the shocks out on the towers one hole front and rear. Car seemed to free up a little and gave really good initial steering.

Checking for understanding herer . . .

You ran 0* stock plastic rear hubs, and ran a total of .5* of rear toe in? Would you mind sharing how many spacers front and rear you were using to attain .5*? Were you running the parma dubs?

Sorry for all the questions, jsut trying to get some knowledge in my head.
