What difference does having the toe in in the rear hubs make?

Start at about 5.5 FDR with 6 cells or maybe even a bit lower.

Also they sell a 96 spur that makes it a bit easier to get the lower FDR's.

hey guys this is the setup i ended up with after doing some tinkering this weekend. I made a bit of a mistake on the sheet. its meant to say im running a front diff. I was kinda needing more on power steering as there is a corner that some other are taking at full power and i am having to let off slightly to get round it. I made the change from 4 to 6 deg blocks and this seemed to calm down the turn in and made the car better on this corner. It is a 90 degree sweeping corner that leads onto the straight. I tried changing to the spool but i felt this didnt help all that much and lost me corner speed as it is a very flowing track for its size. I was going to try reducing front droop to try and keep more weight on the front and increase steering but didnt want to change the car for the finals. Any help would be great thanks

A diff is only going to make the car push. Especially on power. Is you droop measurement above ride height. If so, you're backward. You usually will want more droop in the rear than in the front. Also, is you track really rough? I'd lower the front end to 4.5mm and the rear to 5mm and 3mm front droop above ride height and 4mm droop above rear ride height.

whats tire dope? The droop setting is measured with a stepped gauge from the chassis level to the lowest part of the wishbones

Tire dope = tire sauce = tire additive.

Thanks Tim. With my 114t/37t, I get 5.54 FDR. I can go up 5 more teeth easily
