I think that Schumacher has a good shot at winning, Temu was very fast when he was there for practice. There will be plenty of very fast guys racing there so it would be one heck of a race to see. Im pulling for my homie from the north Paul Lemueix even though hes not running Schumacher anymore. All I can say is that this race will be just awsome, then after it over the next weekend they all come back here for the Reedy race so maybe some scores will be settled there

Kevin K, actually mid- post corner on power steering. I am gonna give the protoform stratus another try, but I really like how responsive the Trinity stratus feels so I will take it along too just incase......

Kevin K,

I am expectating a package tomorrow from Schuie. So keep your e-mail open for me~

You ever try 0 in board on the rear and three at the wheel? Wonder if that will allow for even faster transition, but still feel stuck????????

Rob

impactplayr.......try adding a little more castor to the car this is an easy change and you might get the desired effect.

Rob.....I dont like using the 2 deg inboard toe as it makes the wheel base really short. If there was a way to keep the same static wheel base and use the inbord toe I would give it a shot. So if you did run the inboard toe along with 3 deg total at the hub then the car would have mega rear traction. With just 3deg and 0 inboard toe the car will be alittle bit more free as it does not have the extra weight over the rear that the inboard toe causes.

KevinK, why don't you like the shorter wheelbase you get with the 2 deg inboard toe???

Kevin, If you wish to run the inboard toe, you only have to move the wishbones back 1mm to keep the same static wheelbase. I guess this is a slight issue if you are alreeady running the longest setting!!

personally i don't like inboard toe as it can make the rear of the car feel very strange in the transision between on and off power. Especially on a bumpy track.

Kevin K,
You are right, that schumacher driver is fast and this year Worlds race is going to be one tape to buy from what I have read. It looks as if any of the top racers representing there sponsor has a shot this year. No one car is dominating and if that schumacher driver was there, I don't think HPI would of took honors in the warm up races. The racing is going to be tight. Yokomo may not even be a top 3 finisher this year, but they are normally right there. Guys, that mission does look good and Darkseid had his running well a few weeks ago. Keep on rolling.

What would you guys do to get some more off-power rear traction. The car is on rails on-power.

Thanks

The Teacher.....I dont like the short wheel base because I feel that the car has too much rear traction in the short or midle pos. on the lower arm. And Kinda like what MatW said it feels kinda funny with the inboard toe now I ran this on the Axis2 and like it a lot but on this car it leaves something to be desired.

MattW....yeah I run my rear arms long and my front arms as far forward as I can get. I like the way the car feels in its longest wheel base. I always felt that the car always has plenty of rear grip so I went to the long lower arms and it still has the grip but does not feel like its too stuck in the corner.

HPI 1....Yes this race will be one of the better races to see and then again most of them will be here at the Reedy race so we can catch them on our home soil. Hey I see that you and Darkseid are from the Kansas were or do either of you guys go to the KC World of Wheels race that they have had in the past? I went to the 2000 race TQed and won stock but I would have still had a blast even if I did not do so well, it was awsome to be at the race and have all them cool cars. I dont know if either of you were there I might have met you guys before. One thing that I remember was the guy running the race was always wearing roller skates that was cool and kinda funny. Anyway I hope that Schumcher will make a strong showing at the worlds and maybe pull of the so called upset.....but to us we know that the car has it in it just not the dollars behind the drivers like other teams.

I cant wait to see this worlds on video...should be some close racing, and lets all hope that money isnt the main factor which determines the A main...

Teemu has been fast leading up to the worlds...lets hope this translates into a solid result...

I have a question for you guys...we are racing the Victorian state titles this weekend, and the forecast is for cold and wet conditions..

Have any of you used sorex 20's, or 24's in cold/damp conditions on asphalt, if so, could you please advise meif they were the bomb, or if you found something better.

In the dry, the take off 27's seemed to be the best tire, the car is dialled.!

I have the Schumacher wet weather 21mm, for if it gets really wet, and my undertray arrives today...but if it is just cold, or patchy im looking for something with more contact patch perhaps...

feedback in the next few hours would be greatly appreciated!
