From running asphalt only sparingly and mostly on carpet it seems like racers on asphalt normally don't run 6 degree caster on asphalt like we do on carpet because when running a spool the car tends to push on corner entry and theoretically less caster is more corner entry and less mid-exit-corner steering where as the more caster is less corner entry and more mid-exit-corner steering. The car with 6 degree blocks is supposed to do what John Kerr said, push on entry and mad steering on mid and exit. From my own experiences though on carpet 6 degrees of caster gives you more overall steering everywhere.
I have seen setups from Xray guys and Corally guys running 3, 2, and even zero caster on asphalt. I would assume that would be guys that drive very hard into the turns and they need that initial turn in more than anything else, hit the breaks and rip it out of the corner.

When running the EC I ran 2 deg castor blocks a lot. Just about everywhere I went the car was better on initial turn-in with 2 deg blocks than with 4. I'm yet to try with the mi3

Got my first asphalt session with the car today...man was that thing planted or what! Could concentrate all my effort into tire/sauce testing. No maintenance required at all. Even the blades looked like new after 9 packs of 3.5 brushless and a stupid amount of speed

Also tested the Vantage 190mm carbon wing cut down to size. Very happy with that, dosen't go out of wack in a roll over like lexan wings do, which can end you a heat DQ. No chance of that with the carbon wing.

How is anyone able to save an electronic version of THEIR OWN setups using the blank PDF form? I get the stupid "You are not able to save the data you typed in this form. If you would like a copy for your records please print this form out"

I can print them I know, but I don't want to have to cary paper versions in this the digital age! Plus its easier to "share" my set ups with buddies. Any solutions? I am about to make my own set up sheet in excell or word just to have an editable version!

You need to install a postscript pdf printer - basically a "virtual" printer that saves your edited file as a pdf rather than printing it out.

Do a google search for "Pdf form filler" or "cute pdf" - both of these are free programs that work well.

Exactly what Bender said. Go to www.cutepdf.com and download the free cutepdf program. Then fill in the pdf form using acrobat and "print" through cutepdf to save. Easy, and it works. And it's free...

Yeh...I tried a Mazda6....In my opinion they are crap!!!!!they are a hard plastic of some sort and very brittle...they split and crack at the smallest impact....I broke the MI3 front shock tower because the body broke in the bonnet area and exposed the tower to the BIKE that was lying on the track.Have heard of simmilar problems from others

Barger, you are referring to the EastCoast Mazda 6?
