burt and I are at SoCal for their last saturday race, as they close their doors next week for good. Am using same set as last week but with Sorex 36R's. Last week the car had mild on throttle push w RP30 premounts. Now with the Sorex the car is very mildly loose in both on and off throttle. Feels really good.

Ran my Mi2EC for the 1st time outdoors today. I barley cliped a board and it ripped the suspension mount screw clean through the chassis
I didnt break or bend anyting else. Luckly I had the carpet chassis with me.

My car was OK.... but very loose on-power. I played with they front rollcenter and increased droop in the front. The car was better, but still really loose. Any ideas?

Did you have plenty of off power steering?
What tires, and what conditions?

Wow you are brutal on stuff. I will say your boards are no forgiving at GB. I have a few ideas for you to try but you will have your new car soon.

Today was the last day of testing for me before Reedy. Worked on a handful of adjustments and learned a lot about the balance. I can't wait to get this car on the Tamiya track on Thursday.

And just to give you an idea of what we're testing on, this is BCR Asphalt Raceway. Our "new" (sat unused for 6 or 7 years) track here in SoCal.

Anyone building their car; please make sure you have the suspension mounts mounted properly. If it seems like the driveshafts are barely into the outdrives then something is wrong.

I did look at some setups in the manual. One thing I noticed is the amount of droop they are using on the MI3 vs what I used on my EC. I can see why as at stock settings on the rear suspension the droop screws gotta go along way to limit my droop to 8mm like I use on my EC. Droop screws almost came out.
