Just got home from work with my kit. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get it built tonight. I've got a Saturday Series race tomorrow morning 2 hours away so I don't want to pull an all nighter.

No rush, it's always better to take your time and build your kit right, prep the chassis, measure everything with calipers, file down burrs, degrease and lube bearings....etc....get yourself dialed in properly!!!

I'm not going to rush anything. It usually take me two or three nights after work to build a TC. I'm anal about measurements and fit and finish etc... I may do some chassis prep tonight but that's going to be about it.

"Just got home"..."2 hour trip to a race tomorrow"... No way your getting that built tonight!

You might as well kick back, check out the manual, and game plan for what you will do when you actually have time to build.

Even I wouldn't try to pull off a build in that short amount of time, and I'm crazy!

You can however, take a moment or two to snap some pics of the kit contents for the rest of us to drool over...

That's what I thought, someone might have two 'rights'.

I'm racing a a big UK series on Sunday, might put out a call to see if that has happened

Also missing a shock O-ring, so I can't finish them either

I have found that the pivot pins etc can be quite tight, I have already replaced some with Ti versions I had spare for my EC, they seem to be a very slightly looser fit, perfect in fact.

Hey Mo: I noticed that you mounted the rear body mounts on the inside of the rear shock tower instead of the back, was there a particular reason for this? Or was it just a matter of preference?

What did you take the day off or something? Or did you have PW send it UPS Red?

I know if the kits come in next week to Schumacher I already have mine setup for the Next Day Air plus I'm off work next Friday so if the stars line up right I might get lucky and get my car done.

Hey Mo, how much material did you take off on the battery slots? Doesn't seem like you'd need to do much since it's such a thin chassis. Don't want the cells rubbing the track.

The cell slots are already the proper size, just nock the edge off
