The shorts still fit the TRF shocks and all shocks of similar size. They're just...well short. And all the short springs have a slightly stiffer rating.
-Tamiya spring chart-
Purple 22.72
Gray 20.91
White Short 17.54
TA05 kit Silver 16.13
Blue Short 15.69
White 15.27
Blue 14.08
Yellow Short 13.99
Yellow 13.33
Red Short 12.35
Red 11.86
Perfect for just about any brand of car or shock, on rubber/asphalt. But when you see that they top out at 22lb, you see why not many people use them for foam carpet.

the "Short" tamiya springs were created back when the TA04TRF was released.
they were made so that the car can make ride height. Then when the TA05 released, again some ppl used the "Short" springs to make ride height

As for the kit Silvers, I don't know. Thats odd. But thats not anything the guys here will have to worry about. If they get either spring set, they wont have those.

I did e-mail them and I got a e-mail reply to contact the UK. But I have not heard from them at all.
