i mean it such a beautiful car lol
na jks aside im skeptical to i love schumacher but i have to be careful with my $$$ so il wait watch scott g and probably a few others see if it will help me, thought i think my money would be better spent on practice (tires, batteries and consumables)
still a very sexc new car just wish it was all purple, sorry but thats how u know it a schumacher or a hpi/hotbodies lol suppose the silver will make it stand out even more, still purple, who doesnt like purple?

Default CVD Issues

I have the new updated CVDs but I am having problems with the pin that hold the blade on breaking. I am running stock rubber on carpet with a spool. Any suggestions, ideas, etc...

Thanks,

Thanks,
Only thing I can think of is if the blade cracks at all during a hard hit or wears after a few runs then the pis is actually touching the alum. spool itself and tends to start breaking and bending. I have been lucky and never broke one but I have had them come loose. I touch of CA held my pins from ever coming out. It I needed to take it out I would use a small hammer and gently tap the pin out and replace with a new one and re CA it. Let it dry, put my blade on and go.

Tony I will call you as soon as I dig my car out. We got 8 inches of snow and then it was so nice that it turned to sleet and freezing rain and now it is freaking raining. Not exactly the way I wanted to work out.

does anyone know if the screws are countersunk enough to de tweek properly?
Even though its never been an issue with the Mi2, the new car has like 12 total screws on the bottom, you'll find plenty of flat graphite to set droop/ check tweak by.

wyd is right I think. The front blades with a spool, especially on carpet, wear out quickly. Make sure you check them every run. As soon as they begin to deform, replace them. I usually replace them after 2 runs no matter what just to be safe.

Take the tires off, set the droop blocks under the car on a flat surface. If the chassis is twisted, it'll rock side to side. If it's like that, then loosen all the top deck screws and the bottom screws and take off the rear body mounts. Turn the car over and set it on the top of the shock towers then tighten the bottom screws making sure all four corners of the shock towers are touching and not rocking back and forth. The turn it back over and be careful not to allow it to twist, then set it back on the blocks and tighten the top deck screws. Tighten all the screws in a star pattern so you tighten evenly side to side without twisting.
