One more update in the Axis2 setup...I've got a Stratus body I'm going to bring out and try on friday...I've also got what I THINK is an Opel Vectra body...it LOOKS like it would have more front downforce than the Stratus, so I think I'm going to run a few laps with the Stratus, then a few with the Opel, and see how they each feel...

Say, So Dave can make me up a Rollout chart for the Axis 2, can ANYONE verify that the internal ratio for the Axis 2 is 2.0:1??

Thanks!

Ron

AZ_Ron: Yes, I believe the internal ratio is 2.0:1 The Mission is the first Schumacher TC to deviate from that internal ratio by giving owners the option of 2.0:1 or 1.8:1.

Thanks!!

Ian, Darkseid was confirming the internal ratio of the Axis 2...I'd asked about it a few posts earlier...he was saying that the Mission was the first car to DEVIATE from the 2.0:1 ratio...

Ian: Thanks for the correction. I had seen at least one place that listed the main ratio 2:1 instead of 2.1:1, so I wasn't quite sure.

AZ_Ron: I'm sure about the Axis2's ratio though.

I think! j/k

The easiest way is to count the teeth. Axis has 30 t in the diff and 15 t on the layshaft. Amazingly enough that makes a ratio of 2:1.
Mission has 36 t on the diff, and 17 or 20 t on the layshaft, so that makes a ratio of either 1.8 or 2.117647...

Default Chart...Blah...Blah

AZ_Ron - It'll be on its way this evening using the 2.0 ratio.

To All Chart users - I've had to procrastinate a bit this week with several setbacks in my evening free time. Everybody will be receiving the updated chart via email either this evening or about 2 a.m. on Saturday morning..haha.

I'm really glad that people are finding this helpful to them. I'll also pursue getting it posted on the web in a format that you can grab for yourselves as an option.

Yo Larry...everyone in Austin is salivating over running foams...DJ and Ron have been putting on shows with 10 turns and foams...I break enough stuff with stock and 19 t...10 turn skeers me lol..Tony's been after me to decide about the onroad nats...I'm uncertain so far...what do you think about setup? From the sounds of the track it wouldnt be too much of a change from carpet...except maybe defferent tires??

I've been having a run of really good luck with the Schumacher...about to go to the steel drive shafts, which apparently make more of a difference than you might expect...currently hold the track record for non-expert 10th scale, and creeping up on the 12th scale...

Come on down sometime, Bro and we'll rub some paint..LOL

Hi Guys,

We got more Schumacher Graphite Mission kits in stock, and also some more hop-ups what was out of stock before. And we got the new Integy Laser Tweak Station, Alignment tools and carrying case tool.
