as recently posted, i used parma cyan and magenta compounds to finish 3rd at the 2006 u.s. indoor championships this past weekend. believe it or not, i would recommend that you use the same.
did you have all 4 tyres as purple or did you have 2 front or two on the back if so which way what compound did u have on fronat and same for rear
soz meant cyan

Thanks for the setup....where is this 3mm BMI chassis from the old car or something you are working on? Are you going to be out for the whole week of the Novak race or just for the race itself???

Great results popping up everywhere.....
Chris Goetz makes podium in Cleveland!!!
Tony Padilla and Troy Schafer dominate Florida by winning the Florida State Series in stock/19t/Mod and then backing it up by finishing 1st in stock & 1st & 2nd in 19t at the first annual Indoor Turkey shoot!

Sounds like everyone is doing a great job. Hopefully we can add the Novak Race to that list.

we cut the 3mm chassis for some r&d stuff, but i put everything back to spec for cleveland. the important part of that listing is to make sure you add 0.5mm to all the roll centers for the stock ec foam spec chassis, since it is only 2.5mm. our car builds up so stiff that the stock kit is above threshold stiffness*.
threshold stiffness (ts): the level of stiffness where chassis flexibility has minimum tuning effects. increasing stiffness above this level will not yield perceptible handling changes. defined by the equation ts=10sin(S)
we will add positive novak results, or i will terminate my life.

Ray....thanks for the info on the setup. I wonder how well the setup will work on a track that gives you "Dirt Roostertails"???? We will see here in a week or so.

However, most of us are using what Seaball used....Cyan (35/55) front and Magenta (35) rear. Cyan/Magenta is like a standard combo for most foam touring car to use on carpet (not just on Mi2EC)

assuming that the bite at trackside is a duplicate of last year's novak race, i would bet large sums of money (which i don't have) that it will be good. that was the first thing i thought of, when i pulled my car from the main. "well, this thing's ready for some real traction". if i do have to make a change, it will be a tweak, not down to the bulkheads.
it's a milder version of last year's setup. my old car was hard to drive. this one is not.

EA
you know, i had you in mind when i wrote that little bit. by the way, i'm going to request "herrmannski rip" for the novak. so you'd better start on that now.

Rory.....No one but the Great Hermaski himself is able to handle that much rip. Surely it will just melt your feeble hands the minute you touch the motor. EA has to go into a medicated state to even look at a Hermanski rip type motor. You will surely parish by even looking at a motor of that magnitude. Just settle for what you get and be thankful......don’t reach for the sun because it will surely burn you.
