There are so many things different, it'd cost more to convert your Mi2 to an EC, than it would to buy one.

Whats up PDub, Adrian, everyone else at team Schuie.... long time no talk. I finally went racing again about 3 weeks ago...for now just running 12th scale so I can improve my driving. I'm just happy to race...this has been the first time I had an opportunity since running my EC at the Charity race in MD. I will admit I do miss my EC...maybe when 12th scale season is over I will give you a call to order a new kit.

Anyway, good luck to all of you guys out at Cleveland.

Bob

Well ran my car again this weekend. Started back to scratch with Adrians setup, reset tweak and ride heights and the car was better than ever. Not sure what the main differenace was from last weekend but this week the car was night and day different. Could not be happier with the way the car handled tonight. The Parma M body seems to be an excellent body on the asphalt. A little smoother than the Mazda 6 for me overall with no loss in steering or overall traction.

hey guys i ran my car last night and it was good admitedly the car had race pace but the driver was less than good lol. but im curious how can i get more steering? a mate runs a corally assasin and his car has more steering all over more turn in more mid corner more exit steering its as though his car is on rails. where as i have just enough but not enough to correct any errors say i run wide i dont have the steering to scrub speed and come back on the racing line.
we run 540 and all the pros up there dont use breaks but i find with a one way if i punch the breaks the car rotates in tight corners is there a reason i shouldnt do this? and is 1 and a half dergrees to much camber? i find that my car is super planted but isnt nimble.
does any of this make sense? im new and probably am just over shooting vorners but a mate drove my car and agreed i need some steering.
any advice would be great?
cheers , josh P

You mentioned a one way. Are you running one? If you tap the brakes with a oneway, it will make the rear try and swing around. You shouldn't need to do this because it can be very inconsistent and is very hard to do properly. A little too much brake and you'll spin the car out before you can react. I would need to see your whole setup to suggest how to get more steering.

Yeah, if an Assassin has more steering than you something in your setup is more than a little off.

Post the setup you are running so we can offer some suggestions.

If you need a good starting setup on asphalt either the Weylin setup or Adrians setup are great to start with and especially if your only running silver 540's you will have plenty of steering.

The setup Adrian posted has seemed to work for me a tad bit better overall than the Weylin setup but both should easily get you in the ball park.

I have ran the setups with both RP-30 tires and Take Off 32's and works with both depending on your track. I would say outside the 30's. I run indoor asphalt and ran both tire combinations back to back and the 32's where easier to drive and about 2 to 3 hundreths a lap faster. I normally run RP-30's on every track except are indoor asphalt track.

I was going to give him a link to my setup on www.schumacherpitspace.com but its not there anymore.

I will resend it to the webmaster tomorrow.

My Speedline setup is a great setup for rubber asphalt racing with a spool. If anyone wants it right away send me an email and I will get it to you Monday morning.
