What changes to the USA Foam MI2 EC would you make to race mod foam carpet. I was thinking the new universals and big bumper. BMI Chassis, Top Plate and Towers. I've also saw TRF shocks. It may not need the BMI stuff. What do you guys think ? Does Schumacher have any top drivers in the Mod Foam Carpet ? I have a hard time finding info.

If you are buying/running a USA Foam Spec "EC" you really don't need all the BMI, TRF stuff. The new EC style shocks are as good if not better then the TRF shocks. Even Jason at BMI noted the Schuie shocks are really good.

I'm not sure about Mod in the USA other then maybe Paul Wynn, But for Stock and 19T Chris Goetz aka "Seaball" on this forum has made several A Mains at National races with a stock Mi2 EC

The BMI stuff was for the original Mi2, not the EC. Jason doesn't really have anything out for the EC. No real need. The USA foam spec was designed so that there's nothing additional you'll need. Maybe get the new CVD's that were just released just because they're better all around, and a P-Dub bumper. The TRF shocks aren't needed at all. Again, that was a Mi2 thing before the new shocks were released. Most people seem to run Xray springs on foams so you may want to get an assortment for tuning. Other than that, the car should be good from the box.

Most of our "Foam Tire" guys are mainly 19 turn and stock guys at the moment. But they should still be able to help out with any questions you may have.

Man-I remember when all cars had crap shocks except Tamiya!! Now they are all awesome. I just rebuilt the EC shocks-what a joy.

It would get used for 19T and Mod. Mod primarily. It's tough to choose between Losi/Schui/Xray. Although I know I need a different chassis for the Xray. Parts for the Schui is my only issue with the car. The closest parts are over 3 hours away.

Thanks for the input guys. Can Schumacher get Paul Lemieux back ? He would make a great driver for them like he once was.

Which brings me to another question...are the new shafts included in the kits shipping now? Cause my EC is worn out and i'm soon to buy a new kit.

very true mate, but I want to make a top deck that incorporates a fan slot in it. The way im looking at it will be 2 arms that come out and are split over the motor so they miss motor wires etc, that way you can mount the fan on small spacers to miss the motor. Still trying to figure it out right. Just want to be sure im not goint to tweek anything.
