I'm still not fully convinced a 120t spur doesn't stick below the chassis a tiny tiny bit on the 2mm chassis. But I would have to try one. Clint says it fits fine, but I'm not sure if you can trust him . Nah I'm sure you can trust him, he did wear a dress like he said he would .

mad1,

we'll get the car figured out at the gate over the next few outings. if you make it out on wednesdays, i usually dedicate the night to other peoples' programs. before, we go on about setup stuff, i want to make sure there are no more building errors. also, the track will be pretty empty, so you can really let'er rip. the faster you drive it, the better it is.

Dude, you are so right. If it can be done (wrong), I'm the man. There are times I think I should just run a X-Mod, but I'm sure i would find a way to put the motor in backwards or something of that nature. I know we will get it right (close now). I hope you didn't tell them that I had the hinge pin blocks on backwards, upside down and sideways! This Wed might be tough, but I'm trying!

The 120T spur fits about as good as a 6ft+ R/C racer does in a 5ft womans dress :P

sorry couldn't resist. If I can I'll take a peek at the spur/chassis and snap a pic.

Purple everything? Wow, that's a lot. But if Rit Dye make purple, that's how you'd do it. RPM makes purple ball cups. I wouldn't use aluminum screws anywhere on the EC.

I have had a 120 64dp spur on my car - no problems with it sticking through the chassis.

I've only had the minerals to run a 119, but that was fine.

I'm going to be doing indoor rubber over the winter and was looking to get a second ec, would i be better off getting the foam spec even though i'm running rubber?

You'll either want to get the USA spec and get some rubber car shock towers and top deck, or get a rubber car and buy a USA spec chassis. Either way, you'll end up with the same car, just whatever way is cheapest.

Cheers Jon, but why the rubber towers and top deck?
i currently run usa spec towers on my asphalt set-up.
