cheers i gotta race later today so ill tinker later.
any way just thought id share my project lol its a jig soughta thing so i can ballance my mi2
just made of stainless steel its for home not for track, i welded it (im 17 and learning so lay off the welds ) but i run a string line and can move the car where ever and i think its simpler thn setting up string lines any way here is a pick what ya reckon over kill or useful??

Looks good, I tried balancing mine using a similar method, cotton thread, but only held up by hand.

You might find that using metal points etc below the chassis for balancing will be more accurate than 'hanging'.
I know Xray make some parts especially to do this.

Xray also put holes dead center of the chassis for that purpose. We don't have that so the next best thing are the notches int he shock towers dead center of the car.

im not convinced thebalancing pins are better cause u cant really use a buble level therfore cant make it perfect or if u do use a buble level it would have to be spot on??

I know now! Everyone kept giving me "slippery" clues but all i could come up with was shock oil and diff grease!

Scumacher finished 2nd in mod at the WCSO in Fairfield, CA over the weekend. One of these days I'll get me a win. Next weekend is Speedworlds last night race so I'll be at it again then.

Your car looked great in the main, you shouldn't have to worry about Scotty next week since he used up his one good run for the year at the WCSO
