As predicted Schumacher finished 1 & 2 at this years 7th annual Revo race. Mo won (congrats) and I finshed 2nd (brushless) Running Mo's set up from the nats was pretty good. The car was on point all night. It felt good to not have to cut a motor all day

ORL2 series hit our indoor asphalt track in Frederick, MD. WYD put his Mi2EC in the show again. He is still is in the number one in points. Bob Barry and myself was there also running the Mi2EC's. The car was working good, except when I would hit two of the corners. They where like magnets. I snapped off two of the pins on the cvd bone that goes into the spool. I broke 4 pins that connect the axle to the cvd bone. I also tore up the spool. I need to continue working on to much front traction. Tires over heat and I start breaking loose coming out of the turn. Just about had it worked out of the car by the mains. I did find that running 19T at our track is hard on the car. I will only race 19T at larger outdoor tracks. The was so much traction. They sprayed the track 2 weeks ago with WD40 and changed the layout.

Next up is some practice and then the Roar 2 Regionals.

Sounds like there was some awesome racing this weekend from all the Schumacher guys...congrats.

At the Summer Sizzler...

Chris Goetz TQ'd stock foam vs. some tough competition. His car throughout qualifying was awesome.

Euge and I made the A in Stock Rubber at the Sizzler as well...some tough luck in the Main as we both had 2nd at one point. In the end a really great showing for the Mi2EC's.

Schumacher driver Kevin Kane concentrated on 1/12 Stock and finished a strong 2nd in the A Main.

Check back on the Pitspace site this week for pics from the Sizzler and some other races around the country.

Like Steve said...19T was a little brutal at Frederick. Open Mod was worse and I did both. I snapped the pin that goes in the layshaft pulley twice. blew two TiR worlds axles apart broke a caster block when the screw came out of the bottom of the steering knuckle and the car started wandering, 2 spur gears (1 was from a rock in the charity race that was on Sunday).

On a lighter note...I finally was able to put Welyin's setup on the car and once I added 1mm of Kickup the car was awesome. I had a good shot at making the show at the charity race...We only got two qualifiers and my first one had the shock pop off twice, second one had the rock in the spur. I ended up winning the E Main with a time that would have had me qualify somewhere around 11-13th out of 61 guys.

Thanks. My car was an A main car. I just had bad luck all day and with a reshuffle where I am on a 24 or 25 lap pace and the guy in 6th in my heat is on a 16 lap pace......well you kind of get the idea what happens

thanks otto and nexus.

i ran the bone stock ec carpet car and, with some tuning, it was awesome. it was about a tenth faster than the next fastest car of eli ezrow, but my bobbles, reduced the gap to only .5 sec for TQ. on my TQ run, i ran a 12.7 almost four minutes in! i think only three or four guys even ran a 12.7 all day.

for those of you waiting on a vegas setup, it may take a little more time. i made about a dozen changes on it versus the way i ran it two weeks ago at the gate. traction was completely different. i'm not sure how vegas will be, but i'll be working on the car until then.
