I'm looking for a layshaft mount for the older Mi2, part # U2725. I need the one that is on the battery side. If any of you long time Mi2 racers have one floating about dig it up for me, I'll be happy to pay a few bux for it-I just dont want to pay like 40 dollars for the pair when I only need one (screw broke off inside it, how I dont know ) Lmk if you can help, thanks.
hey nf_ekt go buy some easy outs use the smallest with a really fine drill bit about 2mm or so less if possible drill as deep as u can the put the easy out in and remember you go antio clock wise cause u want to undo it should bring the screw out
since ive been using these i havnt had to throw away a part.
i did bugger up a diff mount then bought a set of these much cheaper.
here is a link you are looking for
http://www.justtools.com.au/prod3621.htm

Thanx, I talked with a friend and I guess he has what your talking about so I'll have him help me with the procedure, since he's had to extract a few broken screws before... Never before have I become so angry that I almost threw the car to the ground-- gotta find something better than the aluminum screws, they aren't very good. Otherwise still like my old Mi2 .

I'm putting something together Schumacher related...

If anyone has any good pics they can send me of their car with the shell or without, on the track or pit table that would be awesome.

I want to use it in a design and/or gallery.

Thanks.
