I would check it with the battery in, but not when loosening, then tightening the screws down. I always checked the chassis flatness with the car ready to run, up-side down on the shock towers. If it rocks on the towers, then loosen everything up to relax the chassis back to flat. Afterwards then check it again. Also you have to remove the rear body posts to do this. A little more work, but I believe it is the most acurate way of checking chassis flatness.

is it an off the shelf part from another manufacturer for the carbon plate with bearings?
Thanks Gavin. It's actually a center track rod with 6mm flanged bearings that I modified to work from a Tamiya 414 that I still had laying on a shelf in my garage.

My car has the bmi carpet towers, what kind of result would you get if you use the stock mi2 towers?

Default foam setup

mr. barry, i have what you want.

the nats setup is real easy to drive. the one i migrated to since then is a bit more aggressive, and better for high bite as the changes made help keep the front end up.

Nice, Thanks Chris. Were you running the mod'd shock tower in the rear?

no, sir. the car is box stock down to the screws. for some reason, i have never run alot of rear camber gain on any of my cars. i like the links long and level. i makes the car have a more equal amount of rotation through the turn. whenever i use gain, the car has a distinct entry and exit phase of the corner. the level links seem to smooth out the turn.
