That would have been worth a shot. I've run that a lot in rubber tire to get better on throttle steering. Bummer I didn't think of it . I believe that's how my setup was from the paved nats, that track was all full throttle wide open. Turn the wheel full lock and steer with the throttle .

We get to bring our own motors for Vegas right? EA will be there for Vegas though (I think) If we don't have to worry about tuning motors then that's one less thing to have to worry about.

Got off to a good start in the Bmain. Had 2nd for a little while until I crashed and broke the car. It was still on all fours but with three wheel motion. Pics of the wrech will be up on the net soon. Good thing Doug H. wasn't there....LOL

Good job Clint. B main is more than respectable at the national level.

Vegas I think was a handout stock and BYO 19 turn. I know Eric will be there so we shouldn't be hurting on motor at all. I'm actually biting the bullet and running stock foam along with 19 turn foam for Vegas this year. (First time I've run a stock motor since right after the Monster Stocks came out.) I didn't belong in modified last year, especially on the rug

The B-main is cool but I wanted the Amain. The car set up was good enough to make the show but the driver didn't step up. Next time though. I had fun and got to see Matt Francis run his last nats so I'm cool. EA will be in Vegas so it's I will be back

Hey guys. My car was really good at the nats. I finished 6th in the B in Mod Sedan. Would have been 2nd or 3rd if I hadn't gotten stuck in a board for about 6 seconds. Had the fastest lap in the B too. I'll try to get my setup up tonight or tomorrow.

Clint had motor in the main though!!

And Mo had an A-main car but the RC gods must have been mad at him for something.

My oneway set up was pretty killer too but Mo's set up was dailed. We will be killing fools at Ripon with it very soon I may even go to the Rocks race this weekend and see how it works on a parking lot track.

I got much love for you ARt. Thanks for helping me with my motors. The stockers take more time and trouble than the 19 turns

Thumbs up carpet ec.

randy, the carpet car is good. i've been running it at the gate, in cleveland, and it's really solid right out of the box. actually, i was up your way a few weeks ago for the michigan state champs race that josh had. you can ask your locals how the car looked.

i also ran the car at the nats in stockton. i didn't have much go right in the mains, but i did tq the third round in stock. it's definitely competitive with a good setup.

we are racing carpet all summer here. you should stop out. especially since halo (now cefx) is now in michigan. we will be having a vegas warmup period in august/september. it will be a great opportunity to make sure your ec is up to par for the rug.

as for spares/availability, i check with paul and adrian at schumacher-usa. they are awesome. other than having to make sure you are stocked up for a race, it's almost as good as having a hobby shop in your basement.
