Default Police car setup, lighting and siren question

I am planning to do a police car setup for VTA, and I wanted to know from those who have done it which of the RAM lightbar kits to pickup? I see the standard bar kit, and then the pace car one. Anyone comment on the pros and cones of each?

Also, for the RAM brand siren, does it cut off after a certain amount of time?

I run the regular, not the pace car set up,I have heard that the siren doesn't work well with brushless setups but maybe they fixed that.

I found the siren I had selected originally, better sounding and cheaper too.

For the lightbar, where do you get the different colored lenses?

Right from RAM,it comes with 2 red but you can order a blue from them.

You have a link to the siren you found?

how much was the blue? i see it say you can order, but didn't see how much in there catalog.

here is the siren link:

I like that it shuts off after two minutes and has a variety of sounds too

Can you run the lights direct off of the battery, or, plug it into an open channel on the receiver?
